What is HUMIFITO?

HUMIFITO is a fumigation system designed and manufactured by Novedades Agricolas, based on the foundation of the spraying process by combining compressed air and water.

How to use it in greenhouse cultivation?

The compressed air is projected against water at a very high speed, breaking the raindrops and causing its atomization. Thus the size obtained, produces a mist suspended, so that the application would cover the total canopy, beam and undersides of leaves, stems and fruits.

Another system application is to serve as a humidifying installation for correcting low humidity environment, and as a cooling system.

How is it designed?

The most important element of the installation are sprays, HUMIFITO nozzle, allowing the use of abrasive and corrosive broths and suspended solids.

They are designed and manufactured to the any phytosanitary plant application, or compatible mixtures of market products.

Where it is installed in the greenhouse?

The HUMIFITO nozzle is installed with a suitable framework regularly covering the total area of the greenhouse, to a height above the tutoring system in the culture. A pipes network supplies the flow of compressed air required. A second network, parallel path, distributes phytosanitary liquid flow through autocompensantes drippers installed with the same spacing as the spray nozzle. The system allows spraying different solutions developed for plant protection.

How to manage this system?

A series of electrovalves installed on the air distribution ducts and phytosanitary liquid, are activated by a programmer controller for conducting spray application or spray automatically. The controller manages the spraying broth volume in a given area as well as the cleaning process of the distribution network, so that the application is completely localized to the treatment zone or sector.

The process can be performed by timers or by cost control, programmable by sector. The controller allows use of HUMIFITO as humidification system, remotely managed by a climate controller, and may be part of power management to be used for controlling water spray.
