Novedades Agrícolas through its international division APR Greenhouses & Technology, Murcia company specializing in agricultural technology , part of AgritechMurcia platform , has been responsible for the construction, equipping , commissioning and maintenance of installations devoted to intensive cultivation of tomato in the Turkish province of Denizli ( Western Anatolia ) .
The greenhouse is composed of two modules of 5 hectares. that adding the work area, reaches a total area of 11.5 hectares.
In the project we have used the most advanced fertigation systems , water drainage , humidification and heating to ensure the best results.
One of the most remarkable features is that the greenhouse is reinforced for hanging ducts because the culture is done on suspended channels, using the hot water surplus of textile factories that are owned by the Turkish company Smyrna , also dedicated to the planting and tomato exports .
The model has been APG96R fitted with PC sides 8- millimeter, screen and mixed plastic roof with double ventilation quarter. As for the equipment , including different systems: CO2 dosing , Xilema for hydroponics fertigation , Fog System humification high pressure , climate control and disinfection Climatec and collection drains . The work has been executed in two phases over approximately one year.
