CO2 Dosing Systems:

From combustible gases with heating facilities with direct-combustion hot-air generators:

The CO2 dosing systems with hot-air generators usually have a twofold use, being employed as heating units and as a CO2 production system based on the combustion of propane gas or natural gas.

This installation modality is suitable for greenhouse cultivation where the combined use is required for heating and carbon dioxide enrichment, for crop needs.

 

 

In central heating facilities with storage of the heat production:

The generator of the heating system is operated during the day period with the twofold objective of covering the heating demand of the night period, and as a consequence, taking advantage of the production of CO2, a by-product of the combustion of the natural gas or propane gas.

To such an end a heat accumulation tank is installed and a distribution and dosing network with the combustion gases covers the greenhouse surface to be treated. This system requires a climate controller that manages the production, and the demand for heat and carbon dioxide in terms of the weather forecasts, and the measurement data in the heat generation system, hot water accumulator, concurrent climate, enrichment levels and different corrections.

This installation modality is suitable for greenhouse cultivation in which a heating demand is present during most of the cultivation cycle due to the external night temperatures being low or the climate cold.

 

Obtained from pure liquefied gas:

Gases coming from different industrial processes that allow the economical production of CO2, are liquefied, distributed and stored in cryogenic tanks for use as carbon dioxide fertilizer in intensive greenhouse cultivation.

This installation modality is suitable for intensive greenhouse cultivation where there is no heating demand during most of the plant cycle, or where the objective is to cover deficient levels at certain times in which the ventilation rate is limited in areas with a mild climate and where the crop requires carbon dioxide fertilization to obtain an improvement in its final quality.
